Ivan Redi is a Renaissance man in the Digital Age – an architect, software engineer, the co-founder and principal of ORTLOS Space Engineering, Office for Advanced Architectural Solutions (since 2000). He has a wide range of experience and expertise in advanced architectural environments & interface designs. His work was shown, inter alia, at 2000 and 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale. Ivan currently teaches design courses at TU Graz; from 2009-11 he taught a diploma course at UCL Bartlett in London; he regularly lectures and exhibits world-wide.

Andrea Redi is an architect, the co-founder and principle of ORTLOS Space Engineering, Office for Advanced Architectural Solutions (since 2000). She has a wide range of experience and expertise in regenerative architecture, management, supervision and realization of complex research projects. Her work was shown, inter alia, at 2000 and 2008 Venice Architecture Biennale. Emil Gruber is a photographer, observer and the partner of ORTLOS Space Engineering. He has shown his work in group and solo exhibitions in London, Graz, Vienna, Berlin and Ljubljana.

Georg Flachbart, PhD, is an action philosopher with full range of media expertise and no hobbies (life is his hobby) + director of mind(21)factory for Knowledge Engineering and Knowledge Design in Stuttgart, Germany + a winner of numerous top awards in Gold, Silver, Bronze, and even Grand in the benchmark media competitions in Chicago, Hamburg and New York + an ORTLOS guy. His research interest focuses on the role of mixed-reality environments within the architectural and social context.

Gudrun Joeller is a culture manger and a junior partner at ORTLOS Space Engineering, Graz.

Brigitta Zics, PhD. is an established artist and researcher with the interest in the aesthetics of technological ecologies and visualisation. Her work has been exhibited and published widely as for example in Leonardo (MIT Press), Imagina (Monte Carlo), Millennium Centre (Budapest) and Siggraph ( Los Angeles). She is currently based in Culture Lab, Newcastle University.

Xinyu Xie is the associate in charge of ORTLOS London. Before joining ORTLOS in 2013, he had worked for internationally renowned architecture practice MAD, Steven Holl Architects in Beijing and AHMM in London. His most recent work includes a large scale urban renovation project in Southeast China, and he is currently managing the setup of ORTLOS network in China.

Florian Absenger is a freelance designer and has been member of ORTLOS since 2006. He studied architecture at Technical University of Graz.

Sven Havemann, PhD, is information scientist with specialization on 3D computer graphics, in particular procedural shape modeling. Author of the Generative Modeling Language (GML, see www.generative-modeling.org). Sven studied computer science at Bonn University (Germany) and received a Phd with distinction from Braunschweig University of Technology with a thesis on „Generative Mesh Modeling“ (http://diglib.eg.org/EG/DL/dissonline/doc/havemann.pdf). In 2005 he moved to Austria to build up a research group on challenges on procedural computer graphics and applications. His strange mixture of unconventional ideas and groundendess in technical reality make him a good match for the transdisciplinary team. Sven is involved in various projects in diverse fields, ranging from ICT for Cultural Heritage over Ambient Assisted Living to rapid prototyping, mass customization, and high-precision CAD applications for the car industry.

Nebojsa is CTO of ORTLOS Serbia, responsible for development of R&D projects such as: ANDI, Virtual Office, and others. His responsabilities have been: Project Management, Software Architecture, Muli-tier architecture, Client-Server architecture. Technologies: Java EE, Advanced Oracle DB designer and developer, .NET, Oracle Forms & Reports, PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML.
